How to Make a Twitter Collage

When Twitter updated its now eight-year-old social network with a couple of tweet-extending features Thursday, it also laid the groundwork for an explosion of tweet creativity. Following in the footsteps of ASCII art, users now have the ability to post up to four photos in one post. Twitter calls this a “Photo Collage.” We call it wicked fun.

Boxes be gone, Twitter.com now supports emoji characters

Sometimes it’s the small things in life that make a difference. Along those lines, Twitter has begun showing emoji characters — the small, cartoon-like figures most often used when typing on a mobile device — on its main Twitter.com website. That’s a nice little development for those of us who use Twitter on the Web on a regular basis.

A new way to track your Pins

If you’re already using Google Analytics, it’s easy to see how your Pins are performing by tagging your Pin links with the correct UTM parameters. If you’ve already got UTM tracking on your Pin links, you’ll start to see more activity on your campaign and source tracking on Google Analytics.

After Facebook acquired WhatsApp for $16 billion, some wondered what would happen to the company’s existing messaging app. Now it seems they had nothing to worry about. The company updated the app Thursday with a major new feature — one that allows users to make free voice calls to their Facebook friends.

Vine Gets Private Video Messaging
