I’ve long had a preference for brands on Twitter. I’d say that I even crush on those that tweet me about my experience in their restaurant. According to an April 2010 study featured on eMarketer 49% of consumers are influenced to try new restaurants that use social media, especially if the restaurant is active on a social network they are a member of. Making your restaurant discoverable in social media can create a deeper connection with potential customers during that important first impression and increase the likelihood of them trying something new.
