This Tool Could Make Your Tweets More Popular

A study backed by the National Science Foundation and Google used an algorithm to parse the sentence constructions, rhetoric and keywords that makes certain tweets get more attention than others. The researchers used their findings to create an online tool that weighs two wordings of the same tweet against each other and spits out a percentage chance that one is likely to be more popular than the other.

Twitter Introduces TweetDeck Teams to Make Managing Accounts Easier

TweetDeck launched a new feature for power users and brands on Tuesday called TweetDeck Teams. In a blog post, Twitter described it as a “simple way to share access to your account without sharing passwords.” The feature, which is rolling out to TweetDeck for the web, TweetDeck for Chrome and TweetDeck for Windows on Tuesday, creates two classes of users: administrators and contributors.

Facebook Now Lets You Put Stickers On Pictures From Your Phone

Goodbye, lame Facebook photos. Hello, photos filled with cartoon characters! Starting Thursday, you’ll be able to add stickers to your photos from Facebook’s mobile app on iOS and Android. You’ll see a new sticker icon when you upload a photo to Facebook on mobile; when you add a sticker, you can drag it to wherever you want, change the size and rotate it.

YouTube Tightens Rules For Brand-Sponsored Videos

YouTube says it regularly sends checks to 15 million creator partners, sharing the wealth from the network’s rapid growth, a 50% year over year increase in viewership for the last three years. But video producers that depend on brand sponsorships for extra revenue are being herded back onto the reservation.
